Setting off on three more adventures

Wednesday, August 22, 2012
But before we go, we shall share some of our memories from Mississippi!  I didn't take my "real" camera, but did capture just a few pictures from my small one.

The girls spent many hours on the hammock in Mimi & Papa's yard.  They have requested one in our backyard.

We spent a few days helping everyone get the beautiful backyard ready for the big vow renewal.  Everything looked so nice when it was all done and ready!

Almost two year old Zach was adorable in his suit.

And the four flower girls were all so pretty!  Note:  Sydney is less than 8 months older than Holly to her left.

We went miniature golfing one day and did some batting cages, and then went to the Pink Palace museum on our last day there.  It was a mansion that was being builty by a man who then went broke, and couldn't finish.  So, the city took over and turned it into a museum.  Very cool.

There were tons of cool exhibits to look at.  But, the favorite, by far...the fossil digging!

Ok, we'll be back, when we return from more adventures! :)

Take a picture of ME

You know, we can't ever just take pictures of what Sydney is doing...so here we have my little camera hog:

Scary!

My kids are so funny.  Brooke came to get me in the kitchen, said Sydney needed me.  So I walk around the corner and yikes!  A ghost!

It yelled "Boo!"

And then Dracula appeared!

I was relieved to find out it was just Sydney :).  Jewel is wondering what the heck is going on!

Silly Girl

These are the types of things I find on my iPad after Sydney has had it for a while!  She's funny.

A fun week at VBS

Friday, August 3, 2012
The girls completed a very fun week at Vacation Bible School.  This was the first year Brooke got to attend.  She has been coming with me for three years watching her sister have all the fun, so she was thrilled to finally be included (and so was I!).  The church has a photographer who shares pictures throughout the week.  I had fun tracking down my kiddos amidst all the pics.

The beginning and end of VBS is always so fun.  The whole church is filled with color, and kids singing.

Here is Sydney and her buddy, Sydney.  They used to be the same height...not that long ago.  Mine is turning into a giant!

Sydney creating her hummingbird feeder...

Brookie and her adorable group...

And the official group picture for Syd (eyes closed, oh well):

And finally, Brooke's official group picture:

Thanks PQ Lutheran for another fun week!
