How can it be?!

My big girl is just about finished with 1st grade, just two weeks left! I realized that means 2nd grade is coming, but wow, reality really set in when I read this note from her teacher yesterday on her homework...



She is so ready for second grade. How did that happen? She's becoming such a big kid. I am so proud of her, she has come so far. We were a little nervous about her writing early on in the school year, but she has improved dramatically in that area too. Check out her lady bug writing, which came home along with the homework:



So, she's ready for 2nd grade, I'm not sure I can say the same about her Mom.
