Brooke and I walked into class with Sydney to get ready for the class party, it was quite chaotic with wound up children who were ready to party. All of a sudden I hear the teacher announce how she likes that one of her students was following directions and knew what she was supposed to do on a Friday morning. I look over, and there is my sweet Sydney focused on her math book (the ONLY kid doing math). Up on the board it said to open their math books and do page 8...and that she did :)


After a nice big breakfast feast and a fun craft, it was time for the book exchange. Of course, Sydney had to have her best buddy right in her lap...

And she helped her do all the passing...it is so sweet how much she loves her sister...



As brooke and I walked out we went through this giant leaf storm...it looked so cool, so we (ok, I) decided to stop and get a picture of Brooke in the middle of all those flying leaves. Those leaves you see on the ground were all in the sky just moments before this shot, but as we waited & waited, nothing happened. Brooke got tired of waiting, she picked up some leaves and threw them for me. Good enough!
