And we hung out to watch the "Positive Penguin Power" assembly, and take pictures for the yearbook. Brooke got to run around and act like a spy with her good buddy. They thought it was pretty cool to be in the midst of the entire school, running around, not having to sit like everyone else. It'll be interesting next year when they actually have to sit and listen like the rest of the kids.
After the assembly, Brooke and I ran a couple of errands, then went home. That's when things went downhill. Brooke started to complain, and said she was cold...sure sign of a fever. Oh no! Just as I was about to grab the thermometer the phone rang. It was Sydney's school...the nurse. "I have Sydney here, with a temperature of 100.6." So, I didn't even get a chance to check Brooke, had to go grab Sydney. I asked the nurse to check her temp...101.2. Both had fevers! Arg! At least they coordinated this time.
So, we'll be here at home for a couple of days...
