We went and toured the San Juan Capistrano mission at the beginning of the month. Once we got home, the building began. Jason and Sydney built the mission completely from scratch, out of our left over construction cardboard. They spent many nights on this project, and it came out great.
Yesterday was the big day to turn it in. She was very proud, and excited to show it off. The streets were filled with 4th graders carrying their big projects, and Syd talked to everyone she could, and told them how she did each part of her creation. All of the missions go into the library, and will get to be viewed at Open House in a few weeks.
Good work Sydney and Daddy! We'll be doing this again in 4 years! Jason says - maybe we'll visit a mission that has just one building instead :).
