7 year old creativity

Sydney is just full of creativity.  She is always working on some sort of interesting project, and although my first response often tends to be irritation at the scraps and messes left behind, I do like to stop and recognize her creative little brain.  And, before I throw yet another stack of paper away, I want to take pictures and remember her interesting little thought processes.

Her latest creation...she traced her hand twice, once spread out, and once pointing.  Then, she cut them out, added on fingernails, a bracelet, and watch.  Then she got out the glue, and glued them standing up.  I found this lovely little masterpiece sitting in the sun drying...

What we would ever do with such an item, I am not sure!  And, I had to remind her to throw away the extra paper pieces, put away the crayons, and glue, etc.  But, it's ok...she'll remember some day, I'm sure.

Here's another little drawing that made me giggle.  It's a girl falling over, and Sydney attempted to write "uh oh".  I guess if you were 7, and sounding out "uh oh", that makes sense, right?  The u says "uh", haha.
