Run, girls, run!

Saturday was the annual Jr. Carlsbad race that my girls love to participate in.  We were SO proud of how they did!  Jason went with Sydney to the start line to run the mile.  Brooke and I waited patiently in our normal spot.

We waited, and then there came our awesome sister zooming around the corner!  Go Sydney go!!

She did SO good, we were really impressed.  She ran the whole mile, no hesitation, and completed in under 11 minutes.  She's ready to do another race right away.

So then we got to go explore the expo booths for a little while, and waited for the toddler trot.  Brooke was pumped up after watching Syd, and ready to go run FAST!

And, there she goes!  Zooming down the black carpet...



It was a very fun morning, we're looking forward to next year.  Sydney will still do the mile, Brooke will move up to 1/4 mile...big girl!  The girls are always proud of their medals.

And, Sydney is always willing to pose for "just one more picture" for Mommy...love that girl :)
