Swim, Swim, Swim, Swim!

Sydney is part of the Pacific Swim team this Summer.  It's a brand new experience for her.  They offer 4 optional swim meets during the Summer.  We weren't quite sure if she was ready to participate in one, but she was super enthusiastic about doing it, so we did!

We showed up thinking she'd enter the back stroke for sure, that is her strongest stroke.  We figured she'd give freestyle a shot also.

First up was freestyle, and here she is.  She wasn't quite sure about how that noise start thingy went, so she was a tad delayed.  But, she still did great for her very first race ever!  Go Syd!



Up next was the back stroke.  She had no hesitation on this one, and came in first for her group! 



Relays came up next, I thought she'd want a break, but nope...she wanted to do it too!  She chose to go second.



And, then, to finish it out...she was having so much fun she said she wanted to enter breast stroke too!  It's definitely not her strongest stroke, so I was so proud that she still wanted to give it a shot.



She maximized out the number of events you are allowed to compete in. It was a great day for Sydney.  She was tired, but so pumped and excited to do another meet.
